"Candide" |
This evening was truly a magical time.
On July 12, 2008, I flew to London to see a performance of the English National Opera's marvelous "Candide" at the London Coliseum. Singing the role of Cunegonde was an old acquaintance, Marnie Breckenridge.
The memory of seeing Marnie nail that role, and then accompanying her to the wrap party afterwards, goes directly into the old silver box.
